My friend technically crocheted this and wore it to the first No Kings March and Rally of 2026, but I designed it! It's a fairly simple headband that uses the mosaic stitch. I based it off of this No Ice headband from WhenDaniDies and used the lettering style from BebaBlanket's ravelry pattern . Designed it Friday afternoon/night, and my friend crocheted it that night (picking crochet back up after having not crocheted in a few years) and into the train ride to the rally the next day! Not bad for a last minute design and creation! Here's the link to the really crude written pattern I have. Once I'm on a desktop, I'll clean it up! In the interim, let me know any feedback you have as this the first pattern I've ever posted! https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/no-kings-headband Pattern chart Finished headband: My friend sporting her "No Kings" headband and me sporting my "No Ice" headband:
I made this strawberry "tiramisu" for Christmas two Christmases ago, and it was a hit! I'd been meaning to make it again, and I finally got around to it! I followed this recipe: https://cookingfantasies.com/strawberry-tiramisu/. I did the cream cheese + mascarpone mix for my cream layer, used frozen strawberries for my syrup and doubled the syrup recipe, and ground up freeze dried strawberries for my strawberry powder. The first time I made it, I had attempted to make my own ladyfingers. They did not turn out so had to buy some last minute. Needless to say, I bought the ladyfingers this time around again, but I do need to try making them again! This was so easy to make! I'm thinking of modifying the recipe to make other versions like mango, raspberries, passionfruit, etc. The possibilities are endless!
